To duplicate on object

1. Select the object you want to copy.

2. On the Edit menu, select Duplicate.

The keyboard shortcut for duplicating an object is CTRL+D. You can set the offset for the duplicate by selecting Options from the Tools menu and clicking the General tab. Enter the horizontal and vertical units in the Offset For Duplicate section.
